Julie Alexander, Attorney

Ms. Alexander represents a wide variety of clients in the real estate industry, including private real estate investors and developers, real estate investment partnerships and companies, real estate agents and brokers, builders, architects, contractors, suppliers, lenders, mortgage companies, landlords, interior designers, property management companies, and homeowner's associations.

Since law school, Julie Alexander has been an active real estate investor in the Austin market. Her personal investments and developments include residential (single family and multi-family) and commercial projects. She has completed condominium conversions on four of her personal properties in the past year.

Julie Alexander opened the firm in March 2001, with a goal of helping her clients prevent problems in their businesses. With a background in real estate and business litigation (that including writing briefs to the United States Supreme Court and the Fifth Circuit), she has seen many businesses and real estate transactions encounter preventable problems. She now works to assure that her clients avoid potential problems in their businesses, partnership arrangements, and real property transactions and developments.

Ms. Alexander received her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law at Austin, and also attended the Master of Laws program at the University College of London in London, England. Ms. Alexander received her undergraduate degree in Plan One/Humanities from the University of Texas at Austin, where her thesis on modern art earned her highest honors in her degree program.

Ms. Alexander's professional memberships and certifications include the State Bar of Texas, Mediator Certification, Austin Bar Association, Solo & Small Law Firm Section (Past Board Member), Travis County Women Lawyers Association, and Austin Young Lawyers Association.

Ms. Alexander has been a speaker at the Real Estate Networking Club of Austin, Southern California Creative Investors Association in San Diego, CA, Orange County Real Estate Investment Club in Los Angeles CA, Commercial Real Estate Training and Education in Las Vegas, NV and Dallas, TX, Keller Williams, Dell, Applied Materials, Hindsite 20/20, JKB Real Estate - Real Estate Investment Seminars, Anne Kennedy and Company Advanced Real Estate Investment Seminar, BiG AUSTIN, Business Women's and Professional Group, local chambers of commerce, People's Law School at the University of Texas School of Law, and the Wrighthouse Wellness Center.

Ms. Alexander has volunteered her legal services with Big Austin and Volunteer Legal Services of Austin.

Tali Randolph, Attorney

Crystal "Tali" Randolph is an associate attorney with the firm. Ms. Randolph's practice focuses on business and real estate issues, including general business transactions (entity formation, LLCs, corporations, partnership and joint venture agreements, mergers, dissolutions), real estate transactions (condominium conversions, deeds and transfers of real estate), clearing title to real estate (alternatives to probate, affidavits of heirship), and probate.

Ms. Randolph has represented a wide variety of businesses, including mortgage companies, real estate investors, professional service providers, entertainment clients (television hosts, authors, artists), and retail businesses.

Ms. Randolph received her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law at Austin. Ms. Randolph attended the University of Vermont for her undergraduate degree in History and Political Science.

Ms. Randolph's professional memberships include the State Bar of Texas, Austin Bar Association, and Austin Young Lawyers Association.

Ms. Randolph has volunteered her legal services with Volunteer Legal Services of Austin.

Kelley Dwyer, Attorney

Kelley Dwyer is an associate attorney with the firm. Ms. Dwyer's practice focuses on general real estate and business transactions (entity formation, LLCs, Corporations, partnerships) and estate planning (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, guardianships). Ms. Dwyer is admitted to practice law in both Texas and New York, and she is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the United States Federal District Courts for the Western, Southern, Northern, and Eastern Districts of Texas.

Ms. Dwyer has represented a variety of clients, including individuals implanting personal estate plans, business owners, landlords, real estate holding companies, individuals buying and selling real estate. Ms. Dwyer has a background in business, insurance and federal appellate litigation, and she has served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas.

Ms. Dwyer received her law degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo School of Law. She also holds a Master of Arts Degree in International Relations from Boston University. Ms. Dwyer graduated from SUNY-College at Cortland with an undergraduate degree in French and International Studies (Economics).

Ms. Dwyer's professional memberships include the State Bar of Texas, the New York State Bar Association, Austin Bar Association, American Bar Association, the Bar Association of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and Travis County Women Lawyers Association.

Ms. Dwyer is fluent in French, and has volunteered her legal services with the Animal Legal Defense Fund, Volunteer Legal Services, and the Political Asylum Project of Austin. She provides a volunteer pet foster home for Operation Noble Foster, an organization that provides foster homes for pets of deployed military personnel.
